The 2019 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia Awards rank Australia’s fastest growing public or private technology companies, based on their percentage revenue growth over the last three years (2017-19). To qualify, each company must have minimum cumulative revenues of $8m over the period.
Financial technology and infrastructure company, Sargon was recognised in the 2019 Top 50, Leadership and Tech Fast Female categories.
Supported by the ASX, DLA Piper Australia and National Australia Bank, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia Awards are in their nineteenth year and provide international recognition for Australian innovation, with the winner gaining automatic entry into the Deloitte Asia Pacific Technology Fast 500 program.
The Leadership category recognises those technology companies who have won a place on the Technology Fast 50 Australia list and whose strong track record of growth has generated cumulative operating revenues greater than $50 million.
The Tech Fast Female category is a newly created category for companies that made the Technology Fast 50 list, which are founded or co-founded by a female(s) or have a female CEO. Sargon was co-founded by Fiona Borrelli, Sargon’s General Counsel, along with Sargon Chief Executive Officer, Phillip Kingston in 2013.
“Simply making the 2019 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia Awards is an achievement, but to be named among the top contenders in the Leadership and Tech Fast Female categories is a significant statement about the company,”
Deloitte Private Partner and Technology Fast 50 Leader, Josh Tanchel said today.
“I’m also so excited about the newly created Tech Fast Female category and the recognition it brings to our female leaders in the Australian business landscape. This year we had three businesses with female founders/co-founders or CEOs in our top 10, and a 44% increase in female representation overall, which is outstanding.
“Deloitte is proud to celebrate the achievements of Australia’s brightest technology innovators and look forward to working with them as they grow in the future.”
Sargon Chief Executive Officer, Phillip Kingston added, “We’re delighted to receive recognition across three categories this year.
“We’re on a mission to remove inefficiencies from investment management, including superannuation, reimagining the role of the trustee in today’s rapidly evolving regulatory environment.“
These awards underscore the relevance and demand for our technology and infrastructure as we help to bring the industry into the 21st century.
“We’d also like to congratulate Afterpay and Zip Co who rounded out the top 3 Leadership Award winners with Sargon.”
